My First Visit

The First Step To Better Your Health Is Right Here At Postier Chiropractic!

step 1.png

Our receptionist will welcome you and ask you to complete our required forms prior to your scheduled appointment time. These forms will provide the doctor with important information about your medical history and the reason for your visit. The doctor will ask specific questions about your condition to determine if chiropractic care is right for you and will make appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals if needed.

Step 2.png

The doctor will complete a full spinal and neurological evaluation to determine where your problem areas are. This will be followed by any necessary x-rays to help the doctor confirm his examination findings, as well as determine the best way to correct the problem.

Following the completion of your initial evaluation, you will be asked to schedule a follow-up appointment. At this appointment, the doctor will explain his findings and review your x-ray to show you where the problem areas are. After that, you will receive your first adjustment as well as a detailed plan on how to correct the problem, not just give you a temporary fix.

Many patients will get relief from the very first adjustment! Chiropractic adjustments are gentle enough for kids, yet will restore movement and function for the athlete and senior. Our office will file claims with any insurance companies we are in network with, as well as automobile accident and workman’s compensation claims. We offer no-obligation consultations and can help you directly with insurance forms. For patients with no insurance coverage, our office provides discounted rates and a flexible payment plan.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

·         You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

·         Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

·         If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

·         Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
